Primary processing of Earth remote sensing data received from domestic and foreign natural resources satellites.

Data archiving, managing file data storage.

Managing catalogue and database with multi-user access support for the Institute’s employees and the employees of the divisions of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.

Distribution of Earth remote sensing data and the results of their thematic processing.

 Performance of research and production works aimed at developing technologies of natural and industrial objects condition monitoring using optical and radar data of earth remote sensing and quasi-synchronous subsatellite experiments conducted at test sites.

 

The Research Theme: Development of Earth remote sensing data and other spatially attached information thematic processing, catologization and presentation information technologies.
