Project relevance   Integrated development of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University which significantly contributes to economic prosperity of the Kaliningrad Area is directly determined by creation of conditions for full-fledged cultural and spiritual life of the population including the possibility of getting first-class education that meets international standards. The specialized general education school «Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University» is an integral part of the system of continuing education based on Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University. The prototype of Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University are the leaders of professional specialized education of Russia – specialized Educational Scientific Centers. Utilization of the accumulated experience, scientific potential and resource base of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University will ensure high level of training of students and that the Lyceum will become one of the leading structures of the system of the university’s continuing education in the fields of mathematics, physics and informatics.

The project’s objective 

The project is aimed at elaboration of the concept of creation of the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum, a three-year development plan, curricula and programs which are an integrated part of the system of the university’s continuing education. To develop documents that determine and regulate the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum educational process content and organization and regulations for admission. To develop requirements of  the resources necessary for  the Lyceum’s education process organization:   methodological support,  material and technical and financial resources.

The impact on the Kaliningrad Area socio-economic situation  Physics and Mathematics Lyceum of Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University is to be the leader in the field of the Kaliningrad Area general education training.
Ensuring the sustainability of the project after the calendar-year of its realization 

The sustainability of the project is provided by the Lyceum’s high standard of  physics, mathematics and informatics training. The project’s employers will be Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and other higher educational institutions of Russia and the Baltic region.
